I originally wrote the first few lines of this song in early 2013 before taking a break from any solo-related work. But of course I returned to it, and made it about my first 24 hours of knowing a certain extraordinary individual (whose name I won't mention here) who's also without a doubt a unique female singer/guitar player out of the musicians I've ever encountered. For me, her song-writing style is a massive influence behind this album. But aside from the song, that's all I'm saying about her in a public place like this.
