Puddle Of Mudd were another long-time influence to me, and still are to this day. I love how they sound like a 2000s version of Nirvana, and their lyrics made me want to get more dark, personal and emotional here and there. In fact, this song serves as a reference to something that I didn't feel I could cover with an original track in Lovesick Soul, but I won't say in a public place like this what that something is.
